1 cup sugar

PINEAPPLE, PAPAYA AND STRAWBERRIES IN BALSAMIC SYRUP

Serves: 2


1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 cup fresh pineapple, medium diced

1 cup strawberries, washed, drained and quartered

1 cup fresh papaya, peeled and medium diced


Using a medium size sauce pan, bring vinegar and sugar to boil and continue cooking for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes syrupy.  Cool down slightly.

Combine fruits in a small mixing bowl and slowly drizzle the vinegar mixture into fruits. Toss lightly. Transfer to fancy bowls and serve.
